Westfalia did some custom work on a contract basis with VW and it was usually for different bed (usually wider than stock) and dropsides as well as the drawer work you mention. I have a buddy in the San Fernando Valley who owned a 72 Westfalia Single Cab for a number of years. There's a Splitty Enthusiast who has a early 60s Westfalia Single Cab that regularly attends the OCTO and some Pomonas with his pickup. I'm sure it carried over into the Vanagons and I've seen other custom beds for Eurovan Pickups (not sure if Westfalia did those).

The drawers on this one appear to be standard VW-Issue for a Single Cab. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com **********************************
