i sold my syncro 7-pass, and bought a syncro westy. i got it home (louisville, co) yesterday. so stoked! someone on the subaruvanagon list pointed this out to me, just as i was about to begin the process of subarizing my own syncro, and eventually adding an upstairs bunk. this van was in truckee, ca, and it had an ej22 put in it 5 years ago. the owner bought a restaurant, and stopped using his van. it was at j's vw vans in reno, being sold by the mechanic (chris wood, a great guy) who had been working on it since the subaru install. i found a guy on the subaruvanagon list (thanks, justin) who could go check it out, and i put my deposit down. a month later, i drove it home. it has a new german trans, a new gowesty propshaft, and new rhein 15" with bfg at's. it runs and drives like a champ. way cool! aaron '87 syncro westy ej22 _________________________________________________________________ Don’t just search.
