Likewise I had had a 58, 64, 67 and 69 when it came time to buy a new car. I told my wife "You know what I'd like? I saw NEW VW buses at the dealer's" back in 1990. I wasn't even aware at the time that there WERE purists for buses! It's still a bus to everybody who knows me... "let's go in your bus." The westy, of course, is a camper. That's just how it's always been.
