Subject: Brake Line replacement update, need help in figuring this out...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"
I am looking at purchasing these brake line replacement systems, option 1
DOT Approved Braided Lines/Copper Lines, Feedback welcomed.
DOT Approved Braided Brake Lines
http://www.classictube.com/brdhoses.asp
D.O.T. approved for street use
No volumetric expansion
Immediate response; not soft as with other hoses
Corrosion resistant
Not sure what the connectors would be to attach to the Vanagon Calipers and
rear drums, as well as cutting the existing rusted tubing and connecting to
this braided line or connecting directly to the master cylinder. If you can
shed any light on this it would be helpful. I might suggest adding this
solution to your site.
My other option is using copper line.

The 90/10 Solution for replacement brake lines
FEDHILL High Performance Alloy Brake Line is the answer. Seamless
copper-nickel 90/10 alloy brake line is strong as steel, completely
corrosion proof and much easier to work with. Installed by high performance
manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Porsche and Audi, 90/10 alloy brake
lines maintain full strength for the life of the vehicle.
Its unique properties allow it to be snaked into positions that are
impossible to do with steel brake line. Flares easier, minimum tube
preparation required and no seam to split. 90/10 brake line seals better,
making it the best choice for your installation!
No other brake line compares for strength, reliability and ease of
installation. It is the perfect replacement brake line for cars, trucks and
buses.

Can anyone tell me what size line and connectors I would need?
I am planning on purchasing the braided lines from Van-Café to connect the
calipers and drums.

I am trying to figure out home much line I need, what kind of connectors I
will need and what troubles may arise.
Thanks in advance.
