I would have to argue it's a bus with the engine in the back and sitting over top of the front wheels. Vans are really cool, don't get me wrong, but they have all that shag carpet and velvet that you don't get in a bus.

Having said that, what will the stubborn old timer purists (and when I say purists I mean the guys wearing three coats inside their loafs in the winter) say when I refer to my Westfalia as a "CAMPMOBILE"?

I have half a mind to get one of those foil "campmobile" stickers from GoWesty that were stuck to the counter inside the old loaf campers.

AND, Unfortuantely I don't know who currently stocks the MICROBUS emblems, but I agree you have to get one. The Value of my bus went up, up, up when I got mine. It also works on a non-VW afficianado who says that's not a "bus". You can just point at the emblem real off-handedly, "No, it is."
