Yeah, Perri works on my 1990 GL, which I bought last summer (my first Vanagon). It already had a lot of work done on it but still needed some things taken care of to get it where I wanted it to be. I started using Perri on the qualified recommendation of a neighbor, and although it took a while to figure out how best to deal with him, I'm still with him and very glad for it. He's honest, competent, and he certainly knows his Vanagons. He's got my GL running pretty sweet now.

When I say that I had to learn how to deal with him, it was like this: he runs a small shop, with two full-time and one part-time employee. Anything complicated, and just about everything having to do with Vanagons, Perri has to be involved in, so he's stretched pretty thin. He's not the quickest in turning cars around, and you have to keep after him to get things done in a timely manner. But in my view, definitely worth it.
