Congratulations, Aaron. I've been to Chris' shop when he had that Adventurewagen for sale. Nice guy. He used to work for my mechanic here in San Francisco. I remember how excited Chris was when he was telling me he was looking forward to doing another Subie conversion. I find it a plus when the mechanic doing work for you likes (or at least appears to like) the vehicles he is about to work on. Beats this one shop I ran into. First words out of the mechanic's mouth were: "Oh sh*t another Vanagon. I hate those f-ing things. Do yo have to take that f-ing thing to me?"

The answer was he never saw me again or any of my other cars.
