Chris Pull the thermostat, put it in a pot of water on the stove along with the wife's candy thermometer and check the etmp it opens at. If all is well, leave the tstat out, go to the rad and pull the "in" hose off. Havs an assistant start and rev the engine.. Do you have flow? Yes =good. no = a problem between the thermostat and the rad in port. Top up the coolant.

If yes put it back on and remove the "out" hose and start it up again. Still have flow? yes is good. No means a stoppage in your new rad. Reconnect and top up the coolant If yes go back to the engine bay and pull the hose where the coolant returns. Start the engine and check for flow. If all is flowing, relax, top up the coolant and have a beer. If not, now you know where to look for the constriction. On Monday, February 6, 2006, at 05:59 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote:
