I haven't measured the width, but I do have the 16" wheels on my '87 2WD. I've done about 35K miles in the past two years with no issues. The Hydroedge tires have done a good job as far as I'm concerned.

Is that really true, GoWesty is selling 7.5" wide rims with ET30? Hard to believe with that width but if it is a fact I will try to accept it. ET20 sounds more like it. Anybody have them on a 2wd?
