Luke, I just recently replaced my stock "Heidelberg" unit and it was surprisingly easy and didn't have a problem with the depth like I thought I would. I had been dreading the change over for a couple years now and was a nervous Nellie about ordering a stereo and the installation. About the depth: my antenna from Bus Depot with a conventional plug even sticks out the back of it, unlike the angled Heidelberg. No problem. BTW, bought a "good used" store return unit from a seller on e-pay for $80. Sony CDX-MP40 "explode" with a remote to use while confined to the Westy crow's nest. Has MP3 so I can have hundreds of songs on one CD. Only problem is you cant use the remote to turn the stereo "on", and using the push button to turn on requires you to hold it for about 2,1/2 seconds. I would also like to know if it can be wired for a dimable display but I did not get the instructions with it. But, the kid's music never sounded so good. Good luck, Chris C 90mv

Were you going to use Crutchfield for the radio replacement as well? They're the ones that have a very limited listing of available units. They say the constraint is mounting depth, but CarDomain doesn't have that constraint. I really need to get the current unit out of there and just compare dimensions...
