do any of you have a grinding noise under your steering wheel while turning?
if so, its most likely one or more of the three little flathead screws that
hold your signal/wiper stalk to your column..   one of the screws had worked
its way loose and was grinding against the brass horn contact ring on the back
of the steering wheel...  not a good thing..  i removed the steering wheel and
found a bunch of brass shavings under there..   good thing i caught it in time
before it ground a hole in the contact ring..

cleaned up the shavings, tightened the screws down and regreased the little
brass tab and all is well..
