Fryday Follies Extended Hours --

The little vintage Nash Metropolitan - driven by an equally vintage Lil' Ol' Lady - pulled into the gas station - the last of a dying breed of full service stations. The car stopped by the fuel pump.

":May I help you, Ma'am?" inquired the attendant politely, putting special emphasis on the "Ma'am", being he was southern born and bred.

In a crisp sharp tone says the Li'l Ol' Lady "Look Sonny!! I want a pint of gas and a thimble full of oil, and for what I am paying, make sure my headlights and tail lights are cleaned, and clean my windshield.!!"

The attendent tightened his jaw, silently thinking "It's gonna be one of those days!"

The attendant rushed around taking care of all the items, and after finishing up with the pint of gas, hooked up the fuel nozzle, and by this time fully aggravated, walked around the car to the window and said "You have your pint of gas and thimble full of oil! So what else do you want, Lady? Shall I poot in your tires??

Have a good'un!
