Another solution occured to me. Perhaps the installers put the new gasket in upside down. I think the gasket has a slight taper towards the top.If it is installed upside down, the taper will be towards the bottom.Just a slight taper it is.This mistake can happen. Maybe check for molding marks at the center of the gasket. See if they are at the top or bottom. Then compare this with any other or the vanagons in your gorcery store parking lot.Better not install a new chrome locking strip, or you will want a new one in all your windows. |
