I put a 12 volt outdoor type socket underneath the rear cabinet by the engine cover. Works well and is tucked out of the way when I am not using it. I usually have a small solar charger laying in the back hooked up to keep the aux. battery topped up.
I ran it off a 5 amp fuse form a small rear fuse box I installed under the rear seat.
