Yo, Barb, you still at Joshua Tree? She was doing just fine as of Buses by the Bridge, in January. Planned to spend the winter camping on friends' land near Joshua Tree, then to go to Alaska in the summer.
Joy p.s. And if anyone were thinking of sending a similar email about me, or more to the point about my website - yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, I'm behind again. It's this WORK thing, it's really inconvenient, messes up my travel plans, fills up my time. I can't do anything fun at all. So I'm in Malawi working hard at geeky stuff, and in the evenings trying to finish two other papers that I was supposed to write a while ago. I like traveling in my van much better! posting to the vanagon list is just a way to waste time when I should be working.
