Used to be that garages charged a couple bucks for "nuts, bolts,
washers, shop towels, various fluids" that they couldn't be bothered
with itemizing on the invoice (yes, I know before that it was considered
to be part of overhead, covered by shop rate).
I bitched and moaned about it then - "Sounds like shop overhead to me!",
but sixty-three frickin' dollars?!?!?! It's not like they're not making
money on their shop rate.
Dale, I'm surprised you were willing to admit to falling for this, but
thanks for the heads up on Meineke's rates.
