New Windshield, new no-trim seal, shop install, and it leaks in the corners everytiime it rains. I have been assured it is a proper installation, "roped" into place, surfaces for the new seal thoroughly cleaned, no "sealer" used as it was not necessary. So if it is a proper installation, what is causing the leaking at "both" corners. Everytime it rains water, drips down on the carpet just under the dash. Doesn't just pour in, but does wet the carpet. I'm a bit exasparated with this. It is evident that the shop feels that they have done it right and there really isn't any way to actually improve on the mechanics ot the installation. So I think I am going to have to come up with the way to get that accomplished and impart it to them. They are willing enough to take it on. Any Bentley procedures calling for anything special that I should know about?? Any suggestions on how to deal with this would be appreciated. Thanks, Regards, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver |
