These things are added to my list of horrible designs and recommend firing the engineer.

I bought pricy new ones and they were just as difficult to get in and keep from breaking...boo...

No tool i am aware of. The pieces become brittle with age and are almost impossible to dissasemble and reuse the retiners. Plan on getting new ones. New ones go together fairly easy.
