(As narrated by Cliff Claven)

Actually there are two Hemisphere specific diesel bell housings Jon.

They are precisely 49.587926 degrees leaning left as viewed from the rear of the van in the Northern hemisphere and an equal number of degrees leaning right in the Southern hemisphere.

This was done to accommodate the Coriolis Effect per hemisphere. The Feng Shui engineering methods employed to find the perfect angle that is harmonious to all aspects of the motors operation is critical when one is using bio-fuels for co-motion.

You see Jon, without this forethought the fine diesel motor would be reduced to rubble in a matter of seconds thus throwing off the earth’s magnetic field and thrusting us into and instant ice age... Or at least trapping our Vanagon in San Franscisco for at least five weeks.

Your pal, Cliffy
