Are you guys trying to start a hokiest mod thread? Well, consider this:

My dad is a wonderful (87 year-old) guy. Career Marine, TOTALLY stand-up, never told a lie and probably never got drunk more than twice in his life. But not exactly a world-class accessory designer.

He owned the '87 Westy that is now my daughter's. Wanting a coffee cup holder, he took a tuna can, cut down a slot for a cup handle to protrude, and screwed it to the right side of the instrument cluster shroud. It's still in Jodi's van, though now is a catch-all for small personal items.
