Hello Folks,

We have about a dozen or so people coming for Burning Van today at about 5pm.

We will be parking on the lot right on the Great Highway near the windmills of Golden Gate. Since we will be starting the bonfire on the beach, try to find the group of Vanagons to locate us. I will probably be in either my gray Doublecab or my Syncro Country Homes camper. I will not have time to answer emails before the event as I will be coming form the airport straight to the beach.

Point your direction finder/Mapquest etc. to 1000 Great Highway, San Francisco. That should get you just across the street from the beach. Remember to look for the group of Vanagons then look for us on the beach.

John Wessels is coming probably with his Syncromog. Werner from Sacramento is coming with his 1.8T powered Vanagon. Eldon from Sacramento in his Syncro. Eldon's dad Mike Miller is showing up with Jean and an engine case to make things more interesting. Donna Skarloken & her hubby from Tracy are coming with their new Syncro. Jero from Daly City is coming w/o a Vanagon as he has been blessed with leaky heads. Tom Lalane, Warren Chapman, Jeff Vickers from Marin should be there. Joel VanderKvaak, Keith Ovregaard, Geza Polony, Peter Shaw, Matthew Pollard... did I miss anybody?

Hope to see you there. -- BenT
