Dear Heloise;

If you know anybody who uses wet floor sweeps like swiffers, the empty plastic boxes with snap-on lids stack perfectly in the pantry and the rear closet.

If you know anyone who buys the expensive cat littler in the square plastic buckets, go out of your way to get these. You can fit several (probably exactly four, I don't know how many since I only have two) under the rear seat. with almost no wasted space because if their shape. The best modular westy-seat storage ever made. One holds all my hoses, adapters and electrical cords for citified camping. Another holds charcoal. The next, should I find one, will hold tow straps, folding shovel, that sort of thing.

Beware of standing oil containers in them, which fit perfectly and is tempting--but the internal reinforcements molded into the containers' corners can puncture plastic bottles, which will then leak. But at least it's contained. The dimensions of the pails is so good for oil containers and the like that it may be worth to grind out the reinforcements, but that I haven't tried.

These containers have pop-up hinged lids and handles.

Jim
