I can't say if it's a standad silver socket - kind of in pieces right now. Perhaps someone couldn't get a 12V accessorie into it, anyway, it is now wired to a 3 way 12V outlet under the pass seat. I run thefrig ir uner the seat to it a plug it in there,

I'd actually like to go back to the stnadard silver socket or 12V cig oulet in its place or rig a 12V outlet right in back of the pass seat for my 12V weekender fridge John

<yea, what Jim said :<) i forgot about the 85-87 westy weekenders.. are u >sure its the "silver socket" that is mounted on the inboard side of the pass >seat pedestal, and not just a regular 12v ciggy lighter outlet? i parted out >a 86 westy weekender and it just had a 12v ciggy lighter outlet mounted on >he inboard pass seat pedestal for running the floormount fridge. ...it was just >ike the ciggy lighter outlet on the dash - with the same green lighted trim >ing and everything..... hmmm ????
