Subject:      Mounting jump seats in 87 Westy

Hi,

I just purchased a passenger side jump seat for my 87 Westfalia. I have
all of the mounting hardware, except the two "cups" on the floor that the
seat frame slide into.

Mounting the seat into my Westy looks fairly straight forward, except the
little "cups" on the floor. I looked at the floor of the Weekender that
the seat came from, and the "cups" are welded to the floor.

Does any one have any suggestions or advice as to what I can do to the
floor to create the "cups" for the seat frame? Or, better yet, anyone have
a URL explaining how to upgrade a Westy to a jump seat?
