That bed liner stuff cracks and chips.Looks good(out of site /out of mind) when new,but if you look close at a sample several years old, entry places for water exist. Gouge out the seams and use por patch.Then pull the wallet out for new paint. Maybe a large "panel of bed liner on the side of the vanagon,say 1 foot by 6 feet would be nice. Color coordinated ,it may work.Like that clear bumpy stuff on cars, down near the rocker.I have seen this stuff in several colors.
