I have this setup in my 88 Westy. The previous owner had it set up that way when I bought it but he had kept or sold the jump seat. He used two brass bushings in the flooring material of the camper for the "cups" for the feet of the seat. I have seen several other campers with this setup. Basically they just drill large enough holes in the flooring material for the bushings and then insert them into the flooring material. Then they install the seat. It works well and is very secure. Not sure how this would do in a crash though. You could always bolt the "cups" to the floor with a single bolt in the center of the cup if that makes you feel better.

Just my experience with it. Hope this helps,
