My cracked head was from the little hose that connects the small pipe that comes off the right head, carrying away at speed. This happened during the trip I referred to.

BTW ... that little hose was so bad that when I removed what was left, it tore like wet cardboard. Being down low where it is ... makes it hard to get to as well.
