Another thing you can do to brighten up your
brake lights is change the bulbs to 50 watts
each.


I did and now and I'm wondering if they might
blind the guy behind me causing him to rear end
me they are so bright!


I also added  bulbs in the fog positions right
and left with ten watts each. So there is now 40
watts of tailights with 100 watts of brake
lights.


I see a lot of rear ended Vanagons and I think
the dim rear lights could have something to do
with this, especially the brake lights.
