John There is no comparable product at anywhere near a comparable price. If you have lots of money, have a look at AVID systems. Keep in mind anything under $6000 is a LE version. You still need a qualified machine plus large external drives/arrays to run it on. Oh,one other thing, save often!

If you want to edit on the road in your vanagon, get an Apple powerbook or the new MacBook Pro and FCP studio. $3400 plus a couple hundred for a good fast 250/300gb FW drive (ext) Cheers Don
