I'm little confused about this- this is the second reference that I recall
to 'replacing the original VW insignia' with this doohickey as a third brake
light. The only VW badge on the rear of my van was a little maybe 2" thing
in the bottom left corner before the world 'Volkswagen'- it doesn't seem
likely that this is the one in question. I say 'was' because it ain't there
anymore.
I've looked at I dunno how many Vanagon rear ends and I've never seen one
with a badge that would suit, meaning large, prominent, centered, etc.
Am I missing something? Is somebody misremembering this or suffering from
wishful thinking? Obviously you could add the thing if you wanted to but
that wouldn't be 'replacing' anything...
