Tom... all you do is get the '85 up (or 84 wolfy up) vanagon GL instrument cluster w/ tach/digi clock.. and put your speedo in it. 4 screws and the speedo is out.

people have been doing this for years. its one of the most popular upgrades out there for early 80-84 westys and vanagons. i just did it this weekend to my doublecab which formerly had the big honkin analog clock.

now i have a tach/digi clock cluster.

just add one wire to the big wide plug and run it back to your coil. boom. you got a working tach.

i have some of these instrument clusters w/ tach/digi clock for sale.....like i said, you can install these on any 80-84 vanagon.. its all in the archives..

p-mail me if interested...

chris
