This is the ultimate multi purpose adapter. The existing fitting on the regulator is the standard POL. To keep things as short as possible, remove the female POL from this adapter and the male POL from the existing regulator. Then one of the nipples can be used to connect the two together. With some effort and care, the copper lines going into the van can be re-bent and connected to the original outlet tee. Now you can use an external tank to feed the van or use the van tank to feed a stove or BBQ.

I'm looking for the same setup for my 84 westy. Since i put the propex heater in i definatey need a back-up. Dennis, would you happen to have the part # for that valve. I went to the marshall brass site but only came up with a valve that had a p o l fitting on the supply side.
