I have installed half a dozen of these in the past few months and am very impressed with them..I sell them for $1195 during a rebuild. They make a poor rear wheel drive into the next best thing to a syncro. I even got a report of one I installed into the front diff of a syncro..He loves it and likes the way it "pulls" through the corners noticibly better than the stock setup. The stuff to make a non into a locker is getting very spendy these days and is more $$$ than the LSD setup and unless you are a serious off roader, seems to make more sense to me..ymmv. Repost, I did not get anyone's opinion...

On 2/8/06, Christopher Gronski <gronski@gmail.com> wrote: I likely have to replace the 3-4 syncro hub in my transaxle, its a BIG job (easily $800 in parts and labor) so it make sense to do some transmission upgrades at the same time.

I have alwats wanted a locking differential, but lately I have been wondering about a limited slip instead. I'd love to here what the group thinks of these two options...
