Subject: Meineke Brake Job
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

My daughter's been using my '90 Vanagon because the emergency brake in her '90 Jetta wasn't working. (Vanagon content)

Being in a hurry and not wanting to work in the driveway in the middle of winter or skimp on my daughters brakes, we (I) took the Jetta to the local Meineke Shop.

Replaced shoes (with Raybestos), replaced both wheel cylinders, turned drums.

The Bill: $677.82, after a $117.05 "Big Brake Sale" Discount

Is it me, or does that seem a little high?
