Just my 2 cents ~ The remote control with many of these manufactures leave a lot to be desired!

What I finally settled on for a head unit was an Alpine CDA-9831. I is kind of a "swiss army knife" of a car stereo in that it has a great tuner, good power output, a remote that does the two things a remote is supposed to do (turn on AND off), plays MP3/WMA, supports both satelite radio companies and controls your I-pod. It also has a really nice feature of face tilt.

From the drivers perspective it's difficult to see what is going on while'st driving when things are flat, with this I unit you get a good 30 degrees of tilt and can read everything that is happening.

I'm running this through a pair of MB Quart 6.5's in the lower front door and soon to mount my JL Audio 6.5 seperates in the rear with a 10" JL sub / amp combo.

Brian
