Hi Volks, I just got home from a business trip in Eastern Ontario about a half- hour ago.... and I am sending this out to confirm that the TCWBC is most definitely a GO! Bus enthusiasts are guaranteed to have a weekend to remember in their bus, and the "bus conservatists" and wannabussers are welcome to join us at the park just north of Hamilton Ontario. Although the Toronto area weather has been unpredictably mild this winter, the weekend weather at Valens Conservation Area is going to be PERFECT: http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/on-81_metric_e.html Four to eight inches of fresh snow will fall tonight. Another four to six inches tomorrow. Temperatures steady near 12degrees F, (-11C) with a low at 5 (-15C). The PERFECT weather for a winter bus campout. You'll be telling the grandchildren about this one, trust me. Don't forget to bring your XC Skis and take advantage of some great groomed trails. Or bring your fishing license and land a whopper. Valens Conservation Area is also hosting the 2006 Ontario Pond Hockey Tournament... Come see how the game was meant to be played! Red Cup Policy is in effect within the park, with the exception of the Beer Tent at the Pond Hockey Tournament. Need more info?
