Dusty, Yes, your heater blower is on the way out. No, it is not an easy job. It has been discussed here extensively and some people have put up web sites describing the job. It involves removing the dash and some other parts to get the heater assembly out so you can then open it up and remove the heater fan. Some have been able to fix it by cleaning it up and relubing, etc. I will save you some trouble of researching this job. Attached is a large zip file that contains some files that I have stored on my computer after doing the research as I have this problem. I haven't fixed it yet, but did pull a heater blower from a parts car and will try to revive it and have it ready to go into my Syncro when I do pull the heater unit out. This should get you through the job. Anyone else who wants this files can mail me by Saturday and I send them along in one "group email" Sunday morning.
