How wise is it to disassemble the instrument cluster to remove the speedometer and lubricate it? I'm aware that the blue "ribbon" may be brittle, etc. but the grinding in the speedometer is now so loud it's annoying me - while my wife wonders if it will produce enough friction to burst into flames ;-) Anyone ever done this? If so, words of advice & lubricant used would be much appreciated. In "V"anagon "W"esty love, light & laughter, Jay '87 Westy (Missouri) 340K miles
