The same thing happened to me last week ...highway off ramp... short oil light/buzzer. I just checked and the oil is slightly overfilled.

> WOW!!! You just answered a question I've been waiting to ask the list. I've been getting the oil pressure buzzer and light after a run on the highway as I decelerate on the off-ramp. Goes away when I accelerate, and doesn't happen at all around town. Coincidently this started after my tech replaced the oil cooler seal (had a leak). It's all very clear now..they overfilled it. The buzzer/light doesn't happen much...should I just let it burn off or should the excess be removed? The dipstick shows very little overage...just topped off.
