I started experiencing high idles while in Florida recently. My mechanic had me disconnect the idle unit and it runs fine without it. He said it's purpose is when using air conditioning to provide extra giddyup. I tried a replacement with same symptoms. I don't like leaving it like this so any ideas what else might be wrong with mine. I doubt that it has anything to do with your timing. I'm wondering if this is causing my timing problems??? Thanks in advance, Joe
