Oh yeah, mine is disconnected right now.  The other
way to take it out of the circuit without bothering
to go behind the taillight to disconnect the computer
is to unplug the idle switch.  That makes the main
ECU think you're running just above idle, so it leaves
the idle computer out of the loop.
