You have to be looking very hard at the web addresses as they pop up to

Notice the non-paypal address. I have gotten several of these. They are very

easy to fall for.[ And easy to make...] I mentioned using Paypal at a high

school reunion - and a Old classmate jumped in to Say "Never use Paypal!"

And to mention she got $11000US [!!] cleaned out of her checking account

attached to paypal.

[ and that it was PayPal's fault somehow..?]

The most Paypal can do is track down the web address in Latvia or wherever..

and spam the crap out of it. It only takes the crooks two seconds to

Get another address and send out another batch of "notices"....


Paypal is a handy service. The prudent move when using it or other

Online payment tools is just to make sure they are not connected to

A significant financial resource...

[like a checking account with $11000US in it!]
