Not stupid at all, at least not on their part. Both businesses exist to make money. If one of them makes money on adult products and the other loses money on them, guess what? The company that loses money on them will want to stop losing and will try to stop dealing with the products that lose them money.

PayPal works great for most people. I wish more vendors offered it for those who care to use it.
