Well folks, after all the hassle and ordering two new calipers from
Overland, guess what? The 'Big Brake' kit has the same size caliper
pistons as a stock standard '86-'91 Vanagon. Yep, the stock '86-'91
Vanagon caliper rebuild kit should work just fine. BTW, the Audi A6
calipers use SMALLER pistons, 57mm vs. 59mm. This customer decided to go
ahead and take the new calipers since his old ones were so toasted from
the extreme heat they were subjected to. Next time we'll all know!
