A week or 10 days? That could simply due to lack of propane. This can be exaggerated in cold weather, which tends to inhibit the propane from evaporating. My fridge works great right after a fresh fill of propane. As it starts getting towards the end of the tank, it starts having trouble cooling, even if there is enough propane for the stove (for a little while longer).
