This happend to me once back in 1981, when water got in the trottle cable housing and then at 100 KPH, the water FROZE on an uphill stretch - "pedel to the metal". I was able to control things by alternately turning the key 'on' then 'off' to keep going to my exit. Fun ride though. Malcolm
