The fact that your fridge runs fine on 120V but not on LP suggests a problem with the flame burner chamber, specifically, rather than a general system failure. Places to look are the jet orifice, burner, and the intake & chimney flues.

I solved a similar problem a few years ago by hooking up a shop vac to the chimney flue, followed by the fresh-air intake tube, to remove collected crud and rust flakes from the burner chamber. It's been working well ever since. Your particular case may not be so easily remedied, but it's worth a try.
