Hi folks, Denver folks in particular, Went out to Pull-n-Save in Aurora this morning. There were two Vanagons: The first was a 1990 full Westfalia 2wd that burned up pretty badly. The interior was completely trashed, the poptop still had its shape but was also burned pretty good. Tranny and front doors gone. Rear springs looked good, front spindles/brakes were good. There might be something you need, but it's pretty slim pickings. I mean burned, burned. Creepy. And it had been a beautiful Westy. Fix your fuel lines, for heaven's sake.. The second was an '80 7-passenger, light blue w. black vinyl interior. The tranny was gone, engine was there. It had the heavy black floor mats in the middle area; also it had all of the black vinyl interior panels in decent shape (minus the sliding door.) It also had the OEM molded front plastic floor mat--some idiot had put shag carpet over it and used some kind of adhesive in several places, so it's a little marked up but intact. I went ahead and bought it but haven't decided whether I'm going to use it or not. Anybody interested? I don't want to ship it, it's heavy as hell. Unca Joel, VINs: 25A0069327 WV2ZB025XLG114630 Oh--Sidewinder Automotive had a late-70's bay with PERFECT Blue/Green plaid rear seat, rear matress, and upper bunk. Great looking stuff, but it doesn't match my interior. Okay, and I was too lazy to pull it out. regards, Joe T.
