If it was your mechanic that there was a slim chance of finding an engine, there's a good chance you should find another mechanic. Here's a link to the one on ebay. It has a buy it now price of $500 and 178K on it. If it were me I'd want to get it for a little less than $500. It's in Washington state. It's not mine.
