IIRC (and it's been almost 2 yrs) the Logo wires go right thru the hole that the badge used for attachment. I spliced some zip cord right into the light assy at the passenger side brake light terminals and ran the cord up the side where the hatch seals to the body. I tacked the cord with RTV to hold it.

The cord goes up to the top right of the hatch where it follows the rear window heater wires into the hatch thru a grommet. Remove your hatch trim inside and you will be able to fish the wire down to the light.

Chris (JordanVW) requested some pix so when I get out of work I'll take some detail shots and post the link to this thread. I can't remember how I attached the light to the hatch, but maybe I'll take a peek at that too.
